Send out your own emails

The software that Hamilton House uses to send out emails on behalf of customers is available for sale, along with technical support.

The software, known as "The Mailing List", was developed for us in 2009/10 to our own specification. It incorporates the following functions:

Composing

Visual editor
Message composing is achieved through a visual HTML editor with code access.

Templates
Create your own templates, incorporating logos, tracking and unsubscribe codes..

HTML and text
The email messages are created both in HTML and plain text format in case the recipient has disabled HTML message viewing.

Import messages
Email messages can be imported from external html files.

Images
Can be incorporated into emails via weblinks and embedding.

Personalised emails
Personalised emails can be sent for each subscriber using the email merge feature.

Sending

Test and preview
The software allows you to both preview messages and send test emails in both html and text format.

Unsubscribe
Add unsubscribe link to each email - a legal requirement.

Scheduled sending
Email sending can be scheduled weeks in advance.

Duplicates
The software automatically prevents duplicated sending.

Set speed of sending
Select how many emails you wish to send per hour to suit restrictions which may be imposed by your server.

List management

Multiple lists
Manage as many or as few lists as you need.

Import lists
Import contacts from .csv files. Individual names can be added, removed or amended manually if wished.

Field names
Customize field names for up to 10 available fields for each address.

List management
Full list management including automatic subscribe/unsubscribe and full report facility on changes in lists.

Bounce-backs
Bounce-backs are automatically recognized, and originating addresses can be either disabled or deleted from the lists.

Black lists
Define a lists of addresses or domains which will be automatically excluded from mailings.

Reports and follow up

Tracking
Full tracking of open and click through rates for each email campaign.

Follow up
Email addresses of opens and clicks are saved allowing follow up campaigns to those recipients who clicked on your first email.

Prices

Purchase of software: £1000

Support: £100 per month for the first year. This is not an option and includes installation of the software on your server/pc, testing and trouble shooting for the first year..
